LED Light Systems
Incandescent and halogen lamps convert only about 5% of the required energy into light, the rest into heat. With LEDs, the efficiency is 80% and above. The service life of our LED lights is well over 50,000 hours. LED systems mean only advantages: they are small in size, reach maximum luminosity immediately after being switched on, can be used indoors and outdoors, and operate almost maintenance-free.
LED products for highest efficiency
With LED technology, even areas that are difficult to access can be efficiently illuminated. These advantages enable a wide variety of designs such as lamps, spots/spotlights, panels, strips, tubes T5, T8. It is financially worthwhile to replace only the illuminant with LEDs in existing luminaires. In this case we have a large number of replacement lamps (retrofit) in stock to offer you an uncomplicated conversion to LED technology.
If a retrofit solution is out of the question, we recommend specially developed LED luminaires that can exploit the full potential of LEDs.
For indoor usage
In the past, LED technology was only used for lighting with a decorative character, such as for accent lighting or color-changing effects. Today, the technology is ready for use as general lighting – because in terms of quality, energy efficiency and service life, LED luminaires have long since overtaken conventional solutions. LED technology is preferable to conventional technology, especially in retail and when accentuating works of art, objects or even food. No heat develops and color-damaging UV rays are not present.
Lighting systems operated in continuous use in particular benefit from minimal maintenance and the associated low costs. A not inconsiderable advantage when used indoors is the versatility of the designs. Very interesting luminaire designs can be created here.
For outdoor areas
Outdoors, luminaires are exposed to weather and mechanical impact. Outdoor lighting often has to be maintained by special devices and the components have to be replaced. LED technology, which is virtually maintenance-free and insensitive to shock and vibration, offers an economically cost-effective solution for these purposes in particular. Cool outdoor temperatures have a positive effect on the operating life of LED technology.
LED technology is used in conjunction with motion detectors, which are only required to provide illuminated light for a short time without delay. It thus represents an important safety aspect and, especially in the winter months, creates more safety in the outdoor areas of buildings and serves as an orientation aid. Discreetly accentuated facade, path and stairway lighting creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere on the building.
